The concept behind Premium Golf Consulting is simple. To provide serious golfers all the resources necessary to reach their potential. You can read more about this in Philosophy. Across our network of experts, this goal has been pursued both within County squads, and individual clients of coaches - aspiring amateur and tour professional alike.
The benefits of this approach is tangible. For example, since Hugh Marr became Head Coach in 2005, players in the Surrey Golf Union squads have been offered a much wider variety of resources than they were previously exposed to, including the introduction of golf specific physical training, sports psychology and bio-mechanical analysis. This marked the beginning of a long term programme which measurably improved the understanding and performance of the players - culminating recently in the Surrey Boys becoming English National Champions from 2007 to 2009.
Premium Golf Consulting formed
Having seen the enormous benefits to both club golfers and elite players, Premium Golf Consulting Ltd. was created in 2005. We have bases at Worplesdon Golf Club, Surrey, Tyrrells Wood Golf Club, Surrey and Burhill Golf Club. We are fortunate to have partnerships with, amongst others, European Tour physical trainers, Darren Roberts and Faye Downey, and the Sports Science department of Kingston University. All of these enable us to offer serious golfers a comprehensive and co-ordinated service which maximises performance.
